Abstract

Karamjit Kaur Kishanwal is a familiar poetess of Punjabi language from Eastern Punjab (India). She acts as an advocate to the rights of women. Through his poetry, she presents a strong voice in favour of the women. In her book “Adan De Baag Ve Chaliya” she authored immense poems on women's emotions, real rights and sociological behaviour against feminine. Apart from this, she described the women abuse in every period of life and tried to present a definite solution that is to give equal right to the women. This paper describes different aspects of oppression and inequality as found in the poetry of Karamjit Kaur with special reference to women rights.
